CBD Citrus Olive Oil Cake


  • 2 Cups (250g) All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon (15g) Baking Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon (2.5g) Salt
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Cup (125g) Sugar
  • 1 Cup (125g) Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon (15g) Butter
  • ½ Cup (125ml) Milk
  • 3 Tablespoons (45ml) Cognac
  • 2 Teaspoon (10ml) Orange Honey CBD MCT Oil
  • Zest of 1 Lemon
  • Zest of 2 Orange

Juice of 2 Oranges
¼ Cup (35g) Confectioners’ Sugar


Heat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 C).

Grease a 9 inch Loaf Pan with the 1 Tablespoon of Butter. Mix the dry ingredients (Flour, Baking Powder, Salt) together in a bowl and set aside. Combine wet ingredients (Olive Oil, Cognac, Milk, MCT Oil) in a separate bowl and whisk thoroughly. Add wet and dry ingredients in a mixer and slowly add eggs, sugar, and citrus zests. Mix until the batter is a nice consistency and add to the greased loaf pan.

Bake for 1 hour, or until you can insert a toothpick have it come out clean.

Sauce Instructions:

Mix the Orange Juice and confectioner’s sugar together in a microwave safe bowl. Mix thoroughly and then heat in the microwave on high for approximately 30 seconds.

Finishing Touches:

Remove the loaf from the oven and use a butter knife to separate the edges of the loaf from the pan if they are at all stuck. Flip the pan upside down and give the pan a solid thump to remove the loaf. While the loaf is still a bit warm, pour the sauce slowly over the top of the cake in a zig zag, allowing it to soak into the top.
